How occupational therapy can help

Occupational therapy (OT) is similar to physical therapy (PT) in that both disciplines help you regain strength and movement following an illness or injury. However, an occupational therapist (OT) goes one step further and helps you regain function in daily living. OT’s provide a broad spectrum of therapies — physical and cognitive — to improve your quality of life. Regardless of whether your injury is a repetitive strain, a broken bone, stroke, or even a mental impairment, you can develop the skills to live a more full and satisfying life.
